Even Mathematics was rated as moderate on the difficulty level, and mixed concept questions were asked. The section was lengthy and tricky as per few students.

Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court will hear the plea for the removal of JEE Main 75 per cent eligibility criterion on April 13. This year, the IITs brought back the eligibility criteria of 75 per cent marks in Class 12 board exams for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. The court sought a response from the NTA to know as to why the eligibility criterion of scoring 75 per cent was added despite there being a qualifying exam in place, the NTA lawyer submitted that such a prerequisite was not newly added.
